The products of the BambooTouch® range are fabricated in factories rigorously selected for their know-how, professionalism and quality standards.

The manufacturing process is as follows :

  1. the bamboo cane is cut lengthwise
  2. the green bark is removed
  3. the obtained flakes are cut and graded
  4. they are then sorted according to their thickness, length and natural colour
  5. the flakes are treated against fungi and insects
  6. the flakes can be kept clear, in their original colour, or can be tinted in an autoclave oven at a temperature of 280°C.
  7. the flakes are then dried in a mechanical dryer
  8. when they are dry, after verification of their humidity rate, they are graded again
  9. the flakes are selected according to their colour in order to homogenize the colour of the future parquet laths
  10. they are then glued at high pressure and temperature with a glue to E1 standards, on their widest face (plain-pressed or horizontal) or on the side (side-pressed or vertical)
  11. the obtained laths are sandpapered and cut to the required dimensions for the flooring laths, panels, accessories …
  12. Shaping of the bevelled edge, slots and strips of the flooring laths and printing of the BambooTouch® trademark on the back.
  13. A last quality control takes place before packaging.
