10-YEAR GUARANTEE BAMBOOTOUCH®

The hardness and stability of BambooTouch® allow us to offer a 10-year guarantee on our floorboards in domestic use, 5 years for commercial surfaces.

The conditions of guarantee below relate to all products of the BambooTouch® flooring range. These conditions gather all rights you have consistent with the provisions of law 23/2003 of 10 July relating to the guarantees on the sale of consumer goods, as well as the additional guarantees and rights offered by BambooTouch® for fabrication defects, if any.

In any case our guarantee does only cover hidden defects peculiar to the goods and in no case the defects that would arise from the laying or handling of the product.

BambooTouch® is a registered trademark of Pi Import S.A. that is assuming said guarantee as importer.

The whole range of BambooTouch® floorings has a 10-year guarantee in domestic use, and 5 years for commercial surfaces.

This guarantee is subject to the following conditions :

• BambooTouch® should be installed by a professional respecting the BambooTouch® recommendations for the storage and acclimation of the flooring laths.

• The installation of BambooTouch® should comply with the humidity parameters of the soil and the surroundings such as specified in all our recommendations.

• Pi Import S.A. puts at the disposal of BambooTouch® distributors full documentation with all the necessary recommendations for the product correct installation and maintenance.

• Pi Import S.A. guarantees the buyer against the defects inherent in the products that would appear with use, such as cracks and distortions. The guarantee does not cover apparent defects that should be verified and denounced at delivery. However shade or colour differences are inherent in the products. The variations with use are not guaranteed. Furthermore the guarantee is strictly limited to the defects inherent in the products, at the exclusion of any damage or defect relating to the laying.

• This guarantee does not apply for incorrect installation. The selected method is always under the parquet layer's responsibility.

• Damage caused by incorrect maintenance, bad use of the ground or carelessness, use of inappropriate cleansing products, scratches or marks left by sharp items or implements, such as knives, claws, screwdrivers, etc. are not covered by this guarantee.

• Any damage or deterioration should be notified to the retailer who sold the product, immediately in writing. The consumer will add to his claim a copy of the purchase invoice and/or the invoice of the professional parquet layer.

• Pi Import S.A. will send to the place where the product is installed, an independent expert that will carry out an inspection of the defective product.

• Dans le cas où l’expert estimerait que la réclamation faite par le client est justifiée, BambooTouch® fournira sans frais le matériel nécessaire au remplacement, en puisant dans sa collection en vigueur au moment de la réclamation. Ce matériel de remplacement sera remis par le biais du détaillant qui aura effectué la vente.

Au cas où l’expert désigné débouterait la réclamation, exonérant la responsabilité de Pi Import S.A., le client devra assumer seul les frais de l’expertise.
